Director of Partnership and Outreach
Jennifer is an innovative partnership builder and facilitator specializing in mission-based organizations and coalitions focused on environmental and human health. She brings over 25 years of NGO management and capacity building to Urban Wood Economy. A commitment to equity and inclusion carry through her work and personal life.
Jennifer has worked on conservation, smart growth, child/family advocacy, social justice/community development, urban forestry, and environmental equity issues for over two decades. Working in the urban wood sector and connecting the dots between workforce, tree equity, waste reduction, carbon capture, and helping to build regenerative wealth feels like she has come home.
Jennifer has degrees from James Madison University (B.A. Communications) and the University of Illinois (M.A., Environmental Education). She does NOT have any guitars but does have a collection of 14 urban trees in her small yard in Maryland.
